Hero Dad Kills Pedophile with Moose Antler
Minnesota dad murders 77-year-old sex offender he claims was stalking his young daughter
--
In March 2023, Levi Axtell (27) walked into a Minnesota police station covered in blood and confessed to murdering a man with a spade and some moose antlers.
Scully was on the sex offender register for an earlier assault on a 6-year-old girl in 1979. Scully was released from prison in 1982. In 2018, a petition was taken out against Scully, who was committed to a mental institution in 2020 before being murdered in 2023 by Levi Axtell.
Many are now calling Levi Axtell a hero father who took justice into his own hands.
In 2018, Levi Axtell filed an order of protection
Trying to take the honest route to keep his daughter safe, Levi Axtell filed an order of protection against Lawrence Scully which was initially granted but later dropped.
The aim of the petition was to prevent Scully from stalking Levi’s 22-month-old daughter.
In the petition, Levi wrote that Scully was stalking his daughter and approaching her at every opportunity. On one occasion, Scully had waited outside the little girl’s nursery and when the class went on a walk, he followed them. Scully then spoke to the little girl, trying to engage her in conversation.
He has been there many times stalking children in his van. He is a convicted pedophile, and him stalking and attempting to groom my daughter is completely inappropriate and needs to stop.

On many occasions, Scully parked outside of the school and followed children.
A temporary order was granted, preventing Scully from going near Levi’s home and daughter. However, the term only lasted six months and there was insufficient evidence against Scully to obtain a full prevention order.
